Mike Bushnell

Mike joined The Herald Group in July 2025. Before joining THG, Mike spent four years at a public affairs firm, building and implementing advocacy and reputation enhancement campaigns for corporate and nonprofit clients.

Mike also has years of experience as a communications leader for major events and initiatives, having worked for both a high-profile education consortium and the trade association that hosts the Washington, D.C. Auto Show.

Mike can be found outside of work enjoying Maryland's many parks and trails with his wife and dog, or flailing on the golf course. He is a loyal fan of the Washington Wizards and the University of Missouri's sports teams, which have taught him the importance of staying positive even amidst relentless adversity.
