Robert Brooks is a Vice President at The Herald Group. In this role, he has successfully led some of the most complex public affairs campaigns across a variety of industries. With a strong record in both strategy development and tactical execution, Robert brings a disciplined, results oriented approach to every engagement. 

Since joining The Herald Group, Robert has helped a wide range of clients navigate complex policy and regulatory challenges by delivering communications strategies tailored to client goals both big and small. His ability to translate complex policy into compelling and easy to understand narratives, along with his knowledge of how to leverage the right tactics to reach the right audiences at the right time has made him a trusted advisor to clients ranging from trade associations to Fortune 500 companies. 

Before joining The Herald Group, Robert served multiple roles in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. In these roles, he developed policy briefs, supported committee hearings, managed legislative activity on the House floor, and coordinated workflows between the committee’s legislative and press offices. He also gained early experience in congressional communications as a Press Intern for the House Veterans Affairs Committee.  

Robert is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs, with a minor in Business and Commerce.
