THG’s Year in Review: 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting not just on what we’ve achieved but also on what we’ve learned. This year, THG was asked to be more agile, more strategic, and more connected to our clients—and we’re proud of how our team rose to the challenge.
We implemented campaigns that broke through crowded agendas, told our clients’ stories with clarity, and helped our clients win consequential legislative and regulatory battles. We created real impact from the ideas, content, and strategy we helped bring to life.
Across the public affairs industry, we watched the pace of change accelerate—from shifts in media behavior, to new expectations around participation, storytelling, and social and digital engagement. These changes reinforced our belief in meeting audiences where they are and helping clients connect with people in ways that are real, relevant, and actionable.
None of this would have been possible without our amazing team of communications strategists. Their creativity, discipline, and commitment to clients kept us grounded and moving forward, even during high-pressure moments.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re focused on helping clients navigate an even more complex landscape—shaped by an election year, emerging technologies, and shifting expectations. We’ll keep investing in the talent and capabilities that keep our work sharp, while staying grounded in who we are: a strategy-first team committed to outcomes that matter.
Firm Updates
20 Years and Counting
To cap off a landmark year, we commemorated THG’s 20th anniversary with a concert-inspired celebration—an unforgettable night where we celebrated the people who made it possible.
New Additions to the Team
This year, we expanded our team with 16 hires, underscoring THG’s commitment to investing in top-tier talent that strengthens our capabilities and elevates our work.
Award-Winning Campaigns
Our clients’ campaigns won three awards this year and six honorable mentions. In addition, our very own Digital Team won a Platinum Award at AVA Digital Awards. We’re incredibly proud of the work our team has accomplished!
Culture is Still Important
Even as we grow, our culture remains at the center of THG—we continue to prioritize time together, from team baseball outings to hockey games that bring the whole firm together.
Showing Up For Our Clients
We remained committed to meeting clients where they are, showing up to 24+ conferences, industry gatherings, and policy events that shape their worlds.
Investing in Our Associates
Earlier this year, Becky Boles joined THG as our first Chief Client Services Officer, strengthening how we deliver for clients and support our teams. She is leading the rollout of THG’s new Guide to Client Leadership, which sharpens alignment around client goals, account structure and staffing, and operational excellence.
Looking Ahead to 2026
After celebrating 20 years, we’re entering 2026 focused on what comes next: continued growth, deeper capabilities, and even stronger client partnerships. THG is energized by the team we’ve built—and ready to deliver in a year that will demand the best of public affairs.
