Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Industry Leader Kaelan Hollon Joins The Herald Group
Veteran Advocacy Executive Joins THG Leadership Team and Adds Further Depth to Firm as 15th Addition in 2026
WASHINGTON (September 1, 2026) — The Herald Group today announced that veteran corporate communications and public affairs leader Kaelan Hollon has joined the firm as Vice President. Her addition to the THG leadership team marks the firm's 15th full-time hire in 2026 as the firm continues to expand its senior-level team and capabilities.
Hollon brings extensive in-house corporate and advisory experience in C-suite environments, as well as a long and successful track record leading corporate and crisis communications programs, public affairs campaigns, and investor relations and transaction support for publicly traded and private companies in highly regulated industries.
More recently, Hollon has served internally and externally in several roles within the healthcare industry, advising large and emerging biotechnology companies on communications strategy and in developing effective patient advocacy platforms.
At THG, she will join the leadership team and leverage her experience to help further build the firm’s growing healthcare portfolio and expand the capabilities of its patient advocacy practice, as well as provide strategy support for other corporate clients and the firms M&A engagements.

Most recently, Hollon served as head of communications at Provention Bio in advance of and throughout the company’s acquisition by Sanofi. She previously held senior executive communications roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Reynolds American. At Reynolds American, she served as chief media spokesperson and head of external communications, leading public affairs and digital advocacy efforts supporting the company’s policy priorities at the federal, state and local levels.
She began her Washington career at PhRMA, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, where her work included public affairs, patient-focused communications and outreach related to prescription assistance, clinical research and access to medicines.
“I have spent my career helping companies communicate through pivotal moments, from clinical and investor milestones to public policy challenges, commercialization and major transactions,” said Hollon. “I am excited to bring that in-house perspective to THG and help clients align their communications and public affairs strategies. I am especially eager to continue working with emerging biotechnology leaders and broaden The Herald Group’s patient advocacy platform to give patients a more meaningful voice in the policies and decisions that affect them.”
A native of Stanton, Kentucky, Hollon earned her law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and is also a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.
