Emma Caroline “EC” Wheatley is a Senior Director, Strategic Alliances at The Herald Group, where she oversees third-party engagement and coalition-building initiatives for clients across highly regulated and politically sensitive industries. Since joining the firm in 2020, EC has managed relationships with key external stakeholders—including think tanks, advocacy organizations, trade associations, academics, and industry leaders—to advance clients’ legislative, regulatory, and reputational objectives.
With expertise in coalition development, stakeholder mapping, and strategic communications, EC guides alliance strategies and coordinates multi-organization initiatives that strengthen clients’ positions in Washington, D.C., and beyond.
Originally from High Point, North Carolina, EC is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and is passionate about building meaningful partnerships that connect public affairs strategy with actionable third-party engagement.
