Evan Lukaske is an accomplished strategist with more than a decade of experience at the highest levels of political and policy communications. As communications director to a U.S. senator and as a senior advisor on presidential, senatorial, gubernatorial, and congressional campaigns, Evan has provided strategic counsel and developed messages to shape public opinion effectively.

Most recently, Evan served as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where he led messaging and press strategy on major legislative accomplishments, including cryptocurrency and financial regulation, veterans' healthcare, military justice reform, 9/11 first responder benefits, and workplace protections. He served as national press secretary for Gillibrand’s presidential campaign and as a regional press secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee during the historic 2018 election. Earlier in his career, Evan held communications roles on gubernatorial, congressional, and district attorney races, and began his career working for Congressman Steve Israel.
