Sam Gibson is an Account Manager at The Herald Group, helping client teams shape and carry out communications and public affairs strategies across a variety of policy issues.
Prior to joining THG, Sam worked at an AI startup geared towards public affairs and spent several years in foreign assistance across the U.S. government, including a role on the Ukraine Desk at USAID, as well as positions at the Department of State and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. Sam also has had experiences abroad, interning in the Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Mission to the European Union and the Mission of North Macedonia to the EU.
Sam holds a BA in History from Washington & Lee University and an MA in European Studies from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service.
