Before joining The Herald Group, Sarah served as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. In this role, she led the Senator’s communications strategy, including overseeing national and Louisiana media relations, rapid response, and key legislative rollouts on energy, healthcare, and economic policy.
Prior to joining Senator Cassidy’s office, Sarah served in the U.S. House of Representatives for five years, serving as a Communications Director for members in both Texas and Ohio. There, she worked closely with Members of Congress to elevate their public profiles and legislative priorities.
